Both locomotives have operating nose headlights, rear headlights, illuminated front/rear number boards, and operating front/rear ditch lights (non-flashing).

In addition to the above, as per the prototype, Road Number 0700 has operating front/rear white marker lights (sound equipped units only), and an operating beacon (sound equipped units only).

As per the prototype, Road Number 8401 has plated (non-operating) marker lights and does not have a beacon.
