SD40-2W LOCOMOTIVES IN HO AND N SCALES
The eight paint schemes that are being offered this month include four ALL NEW decorative schemes that have never been done before. Also included are four of the more popular schemes that have been previously produced. Please note that a DC only version is offered in N scale and the HO locomotives can be equipped with a DC only plug option on request.
HO BI-LEVEL AUTO RACKS
This is a phenomenal model equipped with 18 separate etched metal panels to give these cars the most realistic look possible. The ten road names offered include five all new paint schemes and five previously offered that remain in high demand. All roads are available in six numbers.
HO 48’ SMOOTH SIDED CONTAINERS
These commonly seen containers are offered in two-packs for each owner name. Three sets of each are available providing a total of six road numbers for each paint scheme. These colorful containers are a must for those of you who are able to run 48 footers.
VALUE LINE AEROFLO & AEROFLO II COAL GONDOLAS IN N AND HO SCALES
This is the fourth car released in the new Value Line from InterMountain and provides another option for unit train operation. Each paint scheme includes thirteen different numbers, two six-packs and a single car (a double rotary where prototypically accurate), to make it easy to run long trains.

HO LOCOMOTIVES – DC ONLY OPTION
To accommodate the predominance of DCC operation in the HO arena we are equipping all HO locomotives with electronics that will run in DC or DCC environments. Therefore, a locomotive can be run on a DC home layout and also on a sophisticated DCC club layout without modification. In cases where the modeler wants to run exclusively in a DC environment we have a simple modification to provide for DC only operation. This modification can be made prior to shipping the locomotive to our dealers, or after the fact by the modeler. The existing DC/DCC PC board in the locomotive can be exchanged for the necessary hardware or we will provide it at a small charge so that the modeler has the option of switching back and forth. An explanation of this modification can be found on the InterMountain website under the ‘Customer Service’ button.
