N SCALE LOCOMOTIVES!

After a long hiatus, we are back in full production of N scale locomotives. It has taken us a long time to get up to speed after a change in suppliers. It looks as if 2015 will be the year of the N scale locomotive at InterMountain!

Shipping later this month will be F7’s with five paint schemes, FP7’s with two paint schemes, and FP9’s with three paint schemes. In some cases applicable B units will accompany the A units. These popular decorative schemes have not been available for several years so we expect demand to be high.

There are also ten new FP7’s and FP9’s available for reservation this month in both N and HO scales. Five of these locomotive paint schemes have never been released before. They are very colorful and very unique paint schemes and will fit many specific needs that have been filled before only with custom decoration. There will be many happy modelers when they see this month’s reservation sheets.

Lastly, be sure to check out the two new offerings for the SD40-2W in N and HO scales. These are very eclectic decorations and are the type you may only see once in a lifetime because of their limited application. They are extremely colorful, accurately detailed, and will be added to the SD40-2W locomotives we announced last month.

UNION PACIFIC CABOOSE BY CENTRALIA CAR SHOPS

Four of the ten paint schemes for this caboose released for Advance Reservation this month have not been done before by InterMountain. Five of the others are being released once again with new road numbers. The other, which is the “Slogan” version will have four slogans available.

HO 50 FOOT PS-1 DOUBLE DOOR BOXCAR

Of the ten decorative schemes offered for reservation for this model, six are completely new. The other four are being released with six new road numbers each. Once again, we are announcing the availability of undecorated kits for this model. We are working towards keeping undecorated kits in stock for each of our freight cars for those modelers who are interested in decorating and assembling their own models.

RED CABOOSE N SCALE LINE ACQUIRED BY FOX VALLEY MODELS

For several years, InterMountain has been handling the distribution of the Red Caboose N scale model line. Recently Fox Valley Models acquired this popular line of models and will be continuing production and distribution. InterMountain will continue as a distributor of these models as they are offered in the future under the Fox Valley Models name.
