The B&O owned numerous AAR 70 ton flat cars, and modified them for many types of service. This new model includes the bulkhead ends designed for flat loads such as wallboard and ties. The bulkhead bracing is finely molded. The grab irons are wire. The car is painted black with white lettering. The deck is laser-etched natural wood. The model is equipped with metal wheelsets and Kadee couplers.
