HO & N SCALE WOOD REFRIGERATOR CARS

Wood refrigerator cars carried a number of very colorful paint schemes during the 1940s and 1950s. These cars were common in interchange service as they traversed the continent carrying their perishable loads. This release of the FGE wood refrigerator cars includes several common paint schemes that have never been offered before by InterMountain. Each of the eight releases will be available in six road numbers. These join the other four road names currently on reservation.

HO 40′ RIB-SIDED CONTAINERS

Containers of many sizes and shapes have been used to transfer freight across our country and around the world. Every modern modeler needs several variations of these “freight haulers”. InterMountain is systematically releasing each of its twelve container versions in a variety of paint schemes. The 40′ Rib-Sided container is available for reservation this month. The seven available paint schemes are very colorful and very recognizable on the rails today.

RED CABOOSE 10,000 GALLON WELDED TANK CARS

Sixteen available decorative schemes are being shipped this month, including five paint schemes that have never been offered by Red Caboose before. Many of these are colorful schemes that were commonly seen on the rails in North America during the 1940s and 1950s. Some of these cars were still in use during the 1970s. Multiple road numbers for each item offer the opportunity to build a large unit train of these cars.

N SCALE F3A & F3B LOCOMOTIVES

Eight road names of F3’s in N scale are shipping this month. Six of the eight offerings have not been available from InterMountain before. In addition, the popular Union Pacific in yellow, red, and gray, and the Santa Fe Warbonnet have been released again to meet the demand. This is power that every N scale transition era modeler must have on their layout.
