HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

As we turn the calendar page closing out 2013 and entering the new year it is interesting to reflect on the more than twenty four years InterMountain has been in business. Starting from ground zero in 1988, the Company has built a solid base within the model train arena by offering new innovative products every year to a growing group of loyal retailers. As we go forward we owe a big THANK YOU to our vendors, our dealers and most of all, to our end-user customers who continue to support InterMountain’s efforts by buying our products. We will strive to make 2014 the BEST year ever in the short history of the Company.

HO NORFOLK SOUTHERN HERITAGE ES44AC LOCOMOTIVES

Early in 2013 we announced production of the NS Heritage GEVO locomotives. They were delivered in May. We had significant reservations for these locomotives and even though we produced a relatively large quantity in addition to the reservations, these locomotives sold out very quickly. This month we are announcing an additional release of the Norfolk Southern Heritage GEVO’s in order to satisfy the excess demand. We intend to deliver this group of locomotives in late spring.

For the discerning modeler who wants the most highly detailed, prototypically accurate replication of these locomotives, this model is a must. Spread the word and place your reservations as soon as possible. The specificity of these paint schemes, with only one prototypical road number available, will make it very difficult to produce these models again in the near future.

HO AAR ALTERNATE STANDARD 2-BAY HOPPER CARS

All of us, and particularly those of us in the model railroad hobby, want “new stuff”. For that reason we are offering eight NEW paint schemes for this phenomenal model. With nearly 150 separate parts providing several road specific configurations, this is as good as it gets. Every modeler of open hoppers will be proud of the overall detail level and prototypical presentation of these cars. We are offering twelve separate road numbers in the popular B & O and C & O schemes, giving you the opportunity to build your consist more quickly than
normal.

CONTINUATION OF TRAIN SHOW SEASON

Our next major show will be the popular Amherst Model Railroad Club show in West Springfield, Massachusetts. More than 20,000 model railroad enthusiasts will visit “the Big E” in West Springfield hoping to see the newest and best in the hobby, as well as recycled items from the past. Most of the major manufacturers attend this show, giving modelers the opportunity to meet face to face with those that are responsible for providing new products.

This is one of the premier shows of the season and we hope you will stop by our booth to view our new
products or just to say hello. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
